Famous 'Nasi Angin' hawker in Meliling

Tabanan, NetizenBali.com - Meliling's Nasi Angin, refers to an Balinese dish of a scoop of nasi putih (white rice) accompanied by small portions of a number of other dishes, which includes, meats, sauteed cabbage, fried noodles, abon babi (shredded pork), and a bowl of pork soup, completely serve as side dishes.

One portion of this 'Nasi Angin' is served by a warung (hawker food) in the Meliling village area, right across from the village temple.

"The taste of the pork seasoned is very sweet and chewy. Every time I return to my hometown, I always stop by here with my family", said one visitor who want his name as anonymous, on Thur.15, 2020.

Mostly, Balinese people like to eat this rice as their breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as their main course. And one portion of this 'Nasi Angin' is very affordable, at a price of Rp.15,000 (US$ 1.1).
