DENPASAR, NETIZENBALI.com - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport launched the first PassGO-Digital Airport Hotel in the airport area. This new accomodation is intended for the convenience travelers at the airport before and after flights.

The capsule hotel is managed by PT Angkasa Pura Hotel (APH) in collaboration with PT Krisna Graha Primatama (KGP), one of the first capsule hotel operators in Indonesia.

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I Faik Fahmi said, the PassGO capsule hotel was built at the airport as a way for Bali tourism to rise after the Covid-19 pandemic which lasted for 2.5 years.

"The capsule hotel will be one of the newest superior facilities at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, by providing different choices for all airport visitors, both domestic and international. We hope that capsule hotels will further strengthen the services provided," said Faik Fahmi speaking to the media on Fri. 21 October 2022.

The capsule hotel, which is located on the 2nd floor of the International Arrivals Terminal, offers a total of 132 capsules or modern wood-covered pods with Superior and Premier types.

Just like most airport hotels, PassGo-Digital Airport Hotel Bali offers room rates based on the hour rather than the night. Though full-day room rates are available, rates are generally catered towards a 6 or 9-hour stay.

Each Room or Capsule is equipped with a number of interesting facilities and features, such as cable TV, bag storage, an air ventilation system, high-speed wireless internet service (Wi-Fi), two USB charging ports, and color changing light settings. (NB)
