I Putu 'Namberwan' help cultivate land for farming while cruise operation paused

Jembrana, NetizenBali.com - During the waiting assignment, many cruise ship crew member have changed their livelihoods, one of the most is cultivating their land, some are driving as "Sopir tractor" or tractors operator in their country.

As seen by one of the crew members waiting for the call to work on the cruise ship, I Putu "Namberwan" originally from West of Bali in Jembrana regency.

In his Facebook account, he shared his skill experience cultivating 40 acres of rice fields owned by his in-laws.

"Being a child of Bali is very extraordinary for me. In Bali we are taught a principle that leads to harmony and prosperity," I Putu said on Frid. 23, 2020.

I Putu looked awkward when he was interviewed by the netizenbali.com, but he admitted that he could learn to operate a tractor because it was considered that there were a few people able to operating a tractor. He noticed then learned to operate the tractor, with a sincere desire to help relieve his father-in-law, he became a tractor driver by learning into failure.

"I just start as a tractor operator, I have to be cautious, what I find difficult is when turning in a slim field, the tractor becomes difficult to control, little by little I have progression," he added.

He hopes that the Covid-19 pandemic will pass shortly, so that life can be as it was before.

Which this year he supposed to be on one of the largest cruise ships to provide services to thousands of tourists around the globe to enjoy their vacation on board. He was as a dining room employeer for his fourth contract.
