Russian woman strips naked in front of store in Ungasan, gets apprehended
MANGUPURA, NETIZENBALI.com - In yet another eyebrow-raising incident in Bali, a Russian woman went on a wild spree in Ungasan yesterday, eventually deciding to bare it all right in front of a convenience store.
The woman, identified as AR, 27, reportedly went berserk before going full monty outside a store situated on Jalan Pura Batu Pageh in the southern Kuta region. She was promptly apprehended by the Badung Public Order Unit (Satpol PP).
I Made Astika, the Head of Operations at Badung’s Satpol PP, said AR initially turned up alone and went on her rampage inside the store. It’s worth noting that AR caused no property damage at the store.
“She didn’t cause any damage,” Astika clarified.
Although the store emerged unscathed, authorities still had to step in and take the Russian woman into custody after she had stripped naked just outside the store. Following her apprehension, a man claiming to be AR’s friend appeared on the scene and the pair communicated with each other in Russian.
It was alleged that AR’s outburst could have been triggered by depression. Astika disclosed that AR was subsequently escorted to Denpasar’s Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital for medical attention. (NB/ Coconuts Bali)
