[SNAPSHOT] SOS has successfully held the first big flea market

DENPASAR, NETIZENBALI.com - SOS (Scholars of Sustenance) finally succeeded in holding their first big flea market on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

The event was held as a combination of donation and awareness. It was held at the Sanur Club, lots of visitors were visiting from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Based on the big success, the flea market is not going to be a one time thing, it will be held regularly every first Sunday of the month. Entries for visitors are free, and they can buy great things that have been donated for the support of SOS.

Anyone who’s interested in selling their great stuff can contact SOS for more information.

The buying are not only made on the spot, but also online.People from Bekasi and Jakarta joined in and bought a lot of great stuff that is still fit to use.

The purpose of the flea market itself consists of two things. One thing is to bring awareness to the community about recycling great stuff that is still nice and suitable to use to avoid waste. The other purpose is to collect funds to feed the people who are in need.

Just like one of the visions of SOS (Scholars Of Sustenance) is to create food equity in the society, where good nutritious food can be accessed by people regardless of their status. (NB/*)
